Germans love to enjoy a good glass of wine with a slice of onion tart. When "young wine" (Federweißer: a very sweet wine with 4% alcohol) is available for purchase, it is normally served with a slice of onion tart. Onion tarts can be served warm in winter or cold in the summer.
